Culture Moves Europe supports cultural mobility in the 40 Creative Europe countries↗. It is funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe program and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. The Individual Mobility action line is aimed directly at artists and cultural professionals.
Artists and cultural professionals residing in the 40 Creative Europe countries who are at least 18 years old and active in one of the participating sectors. They receive financial support to carry out a project with a partner in another Creative Europe country. Applications may be submitted by individuals or groups of up to five people.
Individuals can travel for between seven and 40 days; groups for between seven and 14 days.
In addition to a grant for travel and accommodation costs, further grants are offered on an individual basis, depending on the project and the personal situation of the grantee.
Projects in the context of formal education, as well as trips that serve solely to present existing works—e.g., as part of exhibitions or concerts—are not eligible for funding.
