John Francis Flynn has just released his second album, Look Over The Wall, See The Sky. The singer and multi-instrumentalist creates contemporary music using traditional and folk material. He masterfully deconstructs traditional songs to rearrange them with emotional impact. The unconventional use of instruments and the jagged arrangements mixed with electronics, tape experiments, dub, post-punk or noise music give the work an appeal that draws listeners into the strange orbit of experimental folk.
