Die erweiterte Kammer

The project ‘The Extended Chamber’ presents a
concert performance that takes place in the field of tension between a polyphonic voice, gesture-controlled live electronics (Strophonion) and a trio formation consisting of clarinets, quarter ton accordion and double bass.
The programme includes works by Sara Abazari ,
Alex Nowitz and Matthias Bauer as well as collective compositions commissioned by the ensemble. The quartet seeks to the one hand strictly composed music and on the other hand graphic notation and typographic text compositions that lead to guided improvisations in order to explore the relationship between voice, live electronics and musical instruments in different constellations.
