Entre les Lignes – Zwischen den Zeilen

Blind Signal & Liebig12 present a two-part project, covering two territories and involving six musicians and sound artists. The first part focused on the Occitanie region in south-west France. The artists have met, researched, created and performed in the landscapes of the town of Rabastens, exploring the cultural influences of the Occitan region. In this second phase, the creations made in Occitanie will be reworked and contextualized in the metropolitan territory of Berlin and the desecrated Galiläakirche by the end of August.

Taking part in the project are musicians Nathalie Forget (Onde Martenot), Lila Fraysse (voice, Occitan percussions), Julius Holtz(voice, Mod.Synth), Bérangère Maximin(field recordings, digital processing), Caroline Cecilia Tallone (hurdy-gurdy) and Gilles Aubry(Mod Synth, field recordings, digital processing).

A multi-disciplinary curatorial team has been formed by Emilie Beffara funder of Blind Signal Berlin (now based in France), artist and composer Julius Holtz, Allegra Solitude, cultural producer and founder of Liebig12 in Berlin, a studio and creative space based on community values, and Isabelle Picard, cultural administrator.
