Errant Sound Presents

As part of the Artspring Festival 2025, the sound art network “Errant Sound” presents a diverse evening program with a firework of concerts, sound performances and sound interventions.

Errant Sound is a Berlin-based network of international sound artists dedicated to the dissemination, networking, discourse and social and political contextualization of sound art in all its forms. The hub is the project space for sound art Errant Sound, which was based in Kollwitzstraße in Prenzlauer Berg until 2019 and is now located in Gerichtsstraße in Wedding. They regularly organize lectures, sound art exhibitions and performances there.

STEFFI WEISMANN — „on the fly“ — Solo for amplified cardboard boxes, strings and audience (2025)
Steffi Weismann combines bodies, things and sounds in space. She focuses on audio performances, mixed-media compositions, interactive sound installations and interventions in public spaces. Using a tactile approach to everyday objects, she creates expansive soundscapes that are created from just a few elements at the moment of performance and often involve the audience. In addition to her solo work, she is active in various collaborations and co-curates programs in the field of performance and sound art.

An audiovisual live performance that combines vintage electronic textures, vocal recordings, and sound design to create artificial and introspective soundscapes—a sound collage of electronic textures that constructs imaginary landscapes, where mechanical and organic sounds merge.
