Irene Kurka, soprano, author and podcaster, is a defining voice in contemporary music. With more than 320 world premieres and award-winning CD and radio recordings, she is an innovative force in the scene. Her podcast neue musik leben reaches a specialist audience worldwide.

Marko Kassl, a renowned accordionist, performs internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. He has won numerous competitions and worked with composers such as Stefan Heucke and Ivo Petric. In addition to performing at festivals, he is involved in theater and film projects. He has been teaching at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold since 2007.
