Does the year 2014 have a similar significance for Ukrainian musical practice as the '68s did for Western Europe? Can the music scene in Ukraine draw on experiences from that time?

Yes, it existed - the avant-garde from Kyiv - in the sixties. With Leonid Hrabovsky, Volodymyr Zahortsev and Vitaliy Hodziatsky, we present three composers who belong to this circle. We not only place their works in the context of Western European musical practice charged by Minimalism, Fluxus and Happening, but also present three younger composers from Ukraine, Korea and Taiwan, whose works transfer the spirit of that time to the present day.
