miniLab is a project for experimental and improvised music initiated by Laura Leiner (Laura.aLL, M.i.p.v.). After three years and thirteen editions, it has established itself as a valued and necessary space for a well-curated, unusual program, featuring a crème de la crème of the off-music scene. The focus is on female and FLINTA acts. The highlight of the concert evenings is a joint improvisation of the artists, who have previously performed solo or as a duo.

Special features of miniLab #16:

The participating artists have never performed together before. So the two duos and the quartet are premieres!

Claudia Schmitz presents purely analogue visuals (no video projections) – accompanied by the highly talented improv musician Rieko Okuda.

GubbiAnn and Agente Costura both play on self-made synthesizers: an extraordinary event both sonically and visually.
