Noise Is a Queer Space

In Noise Is a Queer Space, Luxa M. Schüttler creates an installation-based parcours and a social play area allowing sound to be explored from queer perspectives. A set of snare drums opens up diverse, heterogeneous soundscapes where memories of pop culture emerge.

The fluid, provisional nature of this setting blurs the boundaries among composition, installation, and free play. The result is a kind of acoustic group selfie: queer, supportive, personal, hedonistic.
