In 2024, FrauVonDa will focus on the Oder river landscape, which is unique in Europe.
The ecosystem connects three nations and diverse life forms.
Too often, however, these are overlooked, ignored and ignored, as became clear in 2022 with the unprecedented fish mortality.
At the limits of the human senses, FrauVonDa creates access to the perceptions of insects, mussels and fish such as the primeval sturgeon.
FrauVonDa spends several months researching along the Oder in cooperation with the Leibniz Institute of Freshwater Ecology and Inland Fisheries (IGB). And collects field recordings, images and oral history.
Together with Wojtek Blecharz, Daniel Eichholz, Roland Fidezius and Schneider TM, they are showing the first results of the collective compositional and compositorial work process.
