Schrumpf! Fantasien

Give me a hug! How can two people get closer again through music when they have had to stay away from each other for so long? During the first lockdowns, Merche Blasco tried to find her own way to more closeness and intimacy. The idea of this two hugging violinists duet is manifestation of intimacy through instruments and bodies. The "Hugging Duo", was then further developed and premiered by Biliana Voutchkova and Clara Levy, and they will perform it for us at Schrumpf! They will also be showing us something new: the world premiere of "New Fantasies", a new composition by the two violinists, inspired by the famous fantasies by Georg Friedrich Telemann. Based on their personal relationship with this piece, they have created something new - in an embrace with the music, so to speak. And what can you do when you embrace each other? Maybe an embrace and music will make your world feel different than expected.
