Steampunk Gamberoni

“Steampunk Gamberoni” is a performance in which the ears and head of the audience guest are played in a 1:1 situation. For this, the guests put on a helmet, which is made to sound in various ways: Vibration objects, violin bows, transducers and other objects are used to explore the different resonance spaces between the surface of the head and the helmet.

The helmets become completely independent characters that resemble insects or perhaps even underwater creatures with their long metal antennae.

Two audience members at a time can take part in the performance and transform themselves into one of the creatures for the duration of the performance. Imagine you can hear like a beetle or a shrimp and immerse yourself in the sound universe between the worlds of animals, art and fantasy!
