The Tower of Babel

With The Tower of Babel, Klangforum Wien dedicates itself to contemporary works by composers from the territory of the former Soviet Union. After the world premiere in Vienna and Berlin in 2023, the ensemble returns with new discoveries, this time with an expanded focus on Central Asia. The program presents artistically uncompromising positions from Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
