Japanese visual art meets music as an improvised performance on 13.09.2024 during Berlin Art Week at Kapelle am Urban (Berlin-Kreuzberg). The creative, innovative painter Haruka Sasaki collaborates with jazz drummer Ernst Bier and trumpeter and composer Jalalu-Kalvert Nelson. These three artists present a live sumi-e painting with accompanied by improvised music influenced by jazz, new music, world music and ambient.

The project is sponsored by the JaDe Foundation in collaboration with Kunstfaktum e.V.
