Visiting Program of the Month of Contemporary Music

Berlin is one of the most exciting cities for contemporary music with a scene that moves between the experimental spaces of the independent scene and established concert halls. The Month of Contemporary Music brings this diversity to life each year, showcasing a wide range of artistic positions, current trends, and new works through concerts, performances, and sound installations. In a three-day program from September 13 to September 16, 2025, we invite musicians, composers, ensembles, and curators to explore the Berlin scene and connect with its key actors.

Participation for Berlin-Based Artists and Organisers

All Berlin-based artists and organisers are warmly welcome to join the program at any time. Please, register here.

 

Costs

For artists, curators, and representatives of ensembles or festivals from Denmark, Luxembourg and Switzerland the partner organisations will cover travel and accommodation costs. The travel cost support for music industry professionals based in Austria is co-financed through funding from the LSG Producers and the Trade Association of the Film and Music Industry. A maximum travel cost subsidy of EUR 500 per person is available. Travel, accommodation, concert tickets, and individual meals must be financed independently. The subsidy will be paid out upon submission of receipts.

If you are interested in the program but not from one of the partner countries, you are still warmly invited to participate. However, please note that we are unable to cover the costs for travel, accomodation and concert tickets. The participation of the program itself is free of charge.
