Fokus Duo II: Monoduo

With the piano duo Yukiko Sugawara and Tomoko Hemmi, two of the most accomplished pianists of contemporary music come to Berlin. One could say they are both at home on all the major concert stages and festivals.

They bring with them a new piano work for four hands by Stephan Storck. Around it they group a programme of central composers of the 20th and 21st centuries, with works by György Kurtag, Mark Andre and Helmut Lachenmann.
