This workshop deals with the question of the importance of sustainability and climate protection for communication with important partners and target groups in contemporary music. Participants will learn about examples of content and messages that can be used to communicate their own understanding of sustainability as well as sustainability activities with staff and colleagues, with organizers, with funding bodies, with the public and with the general public. In the area of tension between artistic aspirations and societal expectations, the workshop sensitizes participants to the prerequisites and effects of sustainability communication. The participants will also critically examine the credibility of sustainability information in programs, on websites or sustainability reports.
