The closing event for the exhibition »Sichtbar Bleiben! Die Tänzerin-Muse und die Künste«

With much love for sound, Oxana Chi presents a concert featuring musicians who have been part of 33+ years artistic journey as a dancer and choreographer in Berlin and New York.
From the very beginning, the collective search grounded in free, improvised, composed music and free jazz, becomes sustained by the common mindfulness and tenderness of the musicians. After a while of creative "take your time" and focus, emerges a tangible intensity for the musicians, dancer, and audience. At this point, images and figures appear, which give the music its uncomparable strength.

The red thread is an independent working with diverse musical materials, which ripe into a time travel with the audience. The musical happening reaches all attendees where they currently find themselves. The diverse inspiration sources reach from somatic vocals to contemporary jazz by way of Hildegard von Bingen (1098- 1178), Julius Eastman (1940-1990) and klezmer.

The sensorial experience, the letting in of sounds and rhythms through once bodies, enriched by the live dance, builds the core of this event. An artistic space of listening, watching, feeling, reflecting, and relaxing.
