Tischlerei

Tischlerei_Musik in Berlin

The venue TISCHLEREI (opened in November 2012) offers an ideal space to experiment with new types of musical theatre and debuts that often address political issues. Examples include Negar, a composition by French-Iranian musician Keyvan Chemirani directed by Marie-Ève Signeyrole, or the co-productions with the Munich Biennale for New Music Theatre. Premieres are also regularly produced in cooperation with the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler as part of the series »Neue Szenen«, children’s operas like Die Schneekönigin or Gordon Kampe’s immmermeeehr are written, and the Junge Deutsche Oper is often working on participative projects.
