This workshop provides participants with an introduction to the conceptual planning and implementation of sustainability goals. Through a combination of presentations, case studies, group work, and discussions, participants will be empowered to take concrete steps towards integrating sustainability into their cultural organizations. The workshop aims to inspire and support in order to achieve long-term positive impacts on the environment, society, and culture. Examples from the field will be presented and discussed, showcasing independent musicians, ensembles, and organizations in the realm of New Music that are striving to promote environmentally conscious actions and sustainability.

Target group: This workshop is aimed at funding recipients of the partner funding institutions and actors of the contemporary music scene.

Level: This workshop provides basic information and frameworks on sustainability and climate protection for the cultural sector and contemporary music.
