With the cultural initiative »experimente#digital«, we support projects of professional cultural institutions that deal with the connection of culture and technology. Our goal is to support the creative use of digital technologies in the fields of art, culture and society, thereby enabling new forms of cultural expression.
Projects supported by our initiative include, for example, the development of digital exhibitions, the use of virtual and augmented reality technologies in the arts, the creation of interactive theater pieces, and the development of cultural applications for mobile devices. We also support projects that do not necessarily take a digital approach, but also critically engage with this development. Our funding program experimente#digital helps to promote the dissemination and use of digital technologies in culture, thus expanding cultural diversity and broad access to cultural offerings in society.

The Aventis Foundation promotes art and culture as well as science and education. In the area of art and culture, funding focuses on individual, innovative projects by cultural institutions that, for example, test new formats, develop new target groups, or break new ground in aesthetic education. Thematically, the focus is on promoting young talent and regional projects in the Rhine-Main area and Berlin.
